HEARTY ITALIAN SAUSAGE ZUPPA
YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- 1 lb of Ground Italian Sausage*
- 28oz Can Diced Tomatoes, Undrained
- 5 Cups Water
- 1 Package Hearty Italian Zuppa Soup Mix
- *You may subsitute ground hamburger, chicken, turkey, pork, venison or beef stew meat.
TO PREPARE SOUP:
- In a 4-6 quart pot, brown sausage. Add soup mix, tomatoes and water.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour or until all ingredients are tender.
- Serve with your favorite bread.
CHILE BLANCO
White beans and green chili in a zesty sauce.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- 6 Cups Water
- 1-2 Cups Diced Cooked Chicken:
- Rotisserie Chicken, Cooked Chicken Breast, Ect.
TO PREPARE SOUP:
Slow cooker method, in a 4-6 quart crock pot, add water and contents of soup packets. Cook on high for 3 hours until beans are tender. The final 15 minutes, add chicken.
Stove top method, in a 4-6 quart pot, add water and contents of soup packets. Bring to a boil, turn down to a simmer for 2 hours or until beans are tender. The final 15 minutes, add chicken.
Be Creative!
Top your Chili Blanco with fresh cilantro, shredded cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Serve with warm crusty bread and a salad and your meal is complete!
CHICKEN TORTILLA ZUPPA
A festival of flavor that stretches south of the border.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- 14oz Can Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, Undrained
- 6 Cups Water
- 1-2 Cups Diced Cooked Chicken:
- Rotisserie Chicken, Cooked Chicken Breast, Ect.
TO PREPARE SOUP:
In a 4-6 quart pot, add tomatoes, water and soup packet. Bring to a boil and simmer until all ingredients are tender.
FINISH IT OFF:
When ready to serve, top each bowl with a hearty spoonful of Pico de Gallo & shredded Mexican cheese. Guaranteed family and friends will be back for more!
Be Creative!
Just before serving add Black Beans and Corn. Top it off with Pico de Gallo, Fresh Avocado, Cilantro, Crushed Tortilla Chips and Mexican Cheese.
